CA Ajay Agrawal

CA Ajay Agrawal is a distinguished Chartered Accountant with over two decades of professional experience. He secured an All India Rank (AIR 28) in the CA Final exams conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in May 1998. Alongside his CA qualification, he holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and an MBA from Nagpur University, and he is also a certified Insolvency Professional from the Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI.
In addition to his academic achievements, Ajay Agrawal has earned multiple certifications, including Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection from ICAI, as well as various NISM certifications in Merchant Banking, Securities Intermediaries Compliance, and Alternative Investment Fund Management.
He is the Promoter and Non-Executive Director of Nakshatra Asset Ventures Limited, a company specializing in stressed asset resolution. Under his leadership, the company serves as the sponsor/settler of two SEBI-registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) – Nakshatra Special Situation Fund (Category-I AIF) and Nakshatra Stressed Assets Fund (Category-II AIF).
With expertise spanning transaction advisory, business structuring, financial statement analysis, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), Ajay Agrawal has been instrumental in numerous high-profile deals, offering his proficiency in valuation, deal structuring, and fundraising. He co-founded and currently serves as the Director of Nakshatra Insolvency Resolution Professionals Limited, an entity registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). His extensive background in finance, auditing, tax consulting, and due diligence has made him a trusted advisor in the field of insolvency and asset resolution.
